Generating a Due List of Upcoming Compliance Items

This article walks through multiple tools for viewing due items within EBIS and how to generate reports for internal use, flight schools, and proactive scheduling.

EBIS offers several ways to view and report on upcoming maintenance tasks using the Compliance Module. Whether you’re managing a single aircraft or a fleet, the system makes it easy to track what’s coming due, prioritize service, and schedule customers accordingly.

This article walks through multiple tools for viewing due items within EBIS and how to generate reports for internal use, flight schools, and proactive scheduling.

Viewing Upcoming Compliance Items Within EBIS

To quickly see what’s coming due on a specific aircraft:

  1. Go to the Aircraft Module
  2. Select the aircraft
  3. Click the Compliance tab on the left

You’ll see:

  • Days remaining and hours/cycles/landings remaining for each item
  • A Status column that reflects:
    • Overdue – Item is past due
    • Impending – Within 10% of its interval or within 90 days
    • Upcoming – Within 25% of its interval or within 90 days
    • Not Applicable - Items that are N/A but still tracked

You can sort any of these columns or filter by Compliance Type or Status using the filters at the top of the page.

📘 Click the Print Compliance List (PDF) or Export to Excel buttons in the top right to generate quick exports of filtered or sorted data.

  • High-level compliance audits
  • Prioritized maintenance scheduling
  • Fleet-wide due list generation

Generating a Due List Using the Upcoming Compliance – Due List Report

If you want to focus on what’s about to come due for a specific aircraft, the best tool is the Upcoming Compliance – Due List report. Unlike the Compliance Listing, this report filters out items that are not due soon and prioritizes those that require attention in the near future.

To run this report for a specific aircraft:

  1. Go to the Aircraft Module
  2. Select the desired aircraft
  3. Click the Reports tab
  4. Click the report labeled Upcoming Compliance – Due List
  5. Click View Report to generate a PDF sorted by urgency

This report is ideal for:

  • Creating work order prep lists for an aircraft due to arrive
  • Internal reviews before customer communication
  • Flight school dispatch coordination

💡 This report dynamically prioritizes by due date or remaining usage (hours, cycles, landings), depending on the intervals configured. It is especially useful for single-aircraft service planning.
