While EBIS does several things behind the scenes to avoid caching issues, there are times when your web browser may cache an older version of EBIS 5, and not allow you to get the latest version.
Recommended Browser
We recommend using Google Chrome for EBIS 5, but you can also use Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
Log Out and Hard Refresh
1) Logging out of your version of EBIS from the top right menu.
2) When back to the login screen, hold down SHIFT and press the Refresh icon.
If in Google Chrome, you can normally also use Control + Shift + F5, or Command + Shift + R on a Mac.
Reset
Commonly, you can also try to go to your site and use the /reset option. If your site is: company.ebis5.com, try going to company.ebis5.com/reset
Try Incognito/Private Browser
In Chrome, going to File > New Incognito Browser window is a temporary way to create a "new" session of EBIS 5 with independent browser history.
Other browsers such as Firefox, Safari, and Edge also offer an Incognito/Private Browser option.
Clearing Your Browser Cache
You can clear your complete browser cache if needed.
In Chrome, press Control + Shift + Delete (or Command + Shift + Backspace on a Mac): this will open up additional options.
