How to Enable and Adjust Overtime on a Work Order

  1. Enable Overtime

    • Navigate to the config and billing section within the work order.

    • Under the general tab, scroll down to the overtime section.

    • Ensure that overtime is enabled to make adjustments.

  2. Adjust Overtime Hours

    • Identify the technicians and their logged hours on the work order.

    • Access the activity log to view the logged hours.

    • Split the hours into regular and overtime hours by creating separate activity logs.

    • Adjust the hours manually by changing the logged hours to reflect the overtime accurately.

  3. Adding Overtime Hours

    • Set the technician as currently on overtime.

    • Add additional hours manually to reflect overtime hours.

    • Use dates to specify when the overtime hours were worked.

    • Adjust the clocked hours to match the real picture of regular and overtime hours worked.

  4. Limitations and Adjustments

    • Be aware of limitations set by business rules, such as the number of days you can go back to make adjustments.

    • Adjust the settings to align with your business requirements, such as setting a limit of 31 days.

    • Manually add overtime hours and adjust clocked hours accordingly to accurately reflect regular and overtime hours worked.
