Step-by-Step Guide:

Initial Setup

  1. Launch Transaction Pro Importer 8.0

    • Upon opening the application, you will see the main interface.

  2. Set Field and Record Delimiters

    • Field Delimiter: Set to Tab.

    • Record Type: Set to CR-LF (Carriage Return - Line Feed).

    • These settings ensure proper interaction with EBIS 5 exports.

Program Options Configuration

  1. Access Program Options

    • Click on the "Program Options" button to view additional settings.

  2. Review Basic Options

  3. List Options

    • Pay special attention to the list options available and adjust according to your company's preferences. The checkboxes on the left-hand side determine how Transaction Pro interacts with existing data during the import process.

    • Example:

      • If the option "Do not add new customer" is selected, any new customers present in your EBIS export will not be created in your QuickBooks instance during the import.
