Bulk Stock Qty / Cost Updates

How to use the Master Part Import/ Update feature to update Stock Costs & Quantities in Bulk

1. First generate an Export Stock Room Detail report from Master Parts
   
    
   1. Choose Filter : Has Stock Qty -> Yes
   2. Remove Stock Room Filter (Chooses all Stock Rooms)
   3. Generate the report
2. Make sure of the following:
   1. Each Master Part ID/ ID matches one Part # / Description
   2. Ensure each Stock Room ID matches the corresponding Stock Room Name
   3. Ensure each repeating Master Part ID row has a Unique Stock Qty ID
      
      
   Update the Qty and/or StkCost fields to reflect accurate cost & quantities. (you could also do this for stock retail, but it using the Parts Matrix that is not applicable to you).

3. Input / load the updated file into the import section.
   1. Select Config ⚙ -> Import Data
   2. Action  -> Import data from a file
   3. Import Type -> Master Parts
   4. Update Type -> Update Existing Records Only
   5. Drag & Drop the update file or select from file system

4. Align column headers, load and thats it!
